The Electric Blue Acara is a colorful South American Cichlid. This fish can be found in various freshwater habitats, in Venezuela and Trinidad. Males can reach lengths of 16 cm (6.3 in) and females a bit smaller. This is a beautiful fish common in the Aquarium trade and excellent from beginners to any level hobbyist.
